Seat Belt – Secure, not frayed, latches properly.
Steering Wheel – No excessive play (max 10° or about 2 inches).
Horn – City and air horn operational.
Mirrors – Clean, adjusted, no damage.
Windshield – Clean, no illegal cracks.
Wipers/Washers – Operate correctly.
Oil Pressure Gauge – Builds and holds normal pressure.
Voltmeter – Charging system working.
Water Temperature Gauge – Normal operating range.
Air Pressure Gauges – Building properly.
Fuel Gauge – Adequate fuel level.
ABS Light – Cycles on and off properly.
Parking Brake Controls – Tractor and trailer valves functioning.
Heater/Defroster – Working properly.
Service Brake Pedal – Firm, no excessive movement.
